    Owl by Night - Completed in pastel pencil on pastel mat paper.
     
    Barn owls are one of the most beautiful birds in the world so they had to make it into my British Wildlife series. Rarely seen during the day I wanted to capture the midnight sky with the bokeh effect. I wanted to almost capture the dew in the air of night sky, with a slight beam of light from the moon. This piece is soft pastels & pastel pencils on pastel mat paper.
