    A field barn close to Muker in Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales. This is a subject that I revisit every year. In February 2020 I attended a line and wash workshop to see if I would be any good at this. This was after decades of not drawing or painting for the pleasure of it. This was the first subject of the workshop and this is that oiginal first work of mine. You will find later versions available on East Yorkshire Gallery too. Each year, in February I tackle the subject again so that as I go through my art career I can see how my work has developed from that very first piece.
